Little Pony Drawing Book
Hi everyone!! My publisher just announced my latest how-to draw book, so I thought I'd share the cover art! It's called Little Pony Drawing Book: How to Draw and Create Magical Friends.

You can preorder on Amazon here: amzn.to/1DsM9nh

It's 128 color pages packed full of cute ponies, unicorns, pegasi, other forest friends, with lots of demos to take you step-by-step through the drawing process of building up characters using basic shapes. Plus tips for proportions, poses, motion/action, facial expressions, manes, tails, fashion, and more. I had a ton of fun working on it, and if you love ponies like me, I think you'll really enjoy it. ^_^

I also have a couple of coloring books coming out: amzn.to/1TOsRlH and amzn.to/1TOsRCk

Hello~! My name is Lindsay. Born November 9th, 1981 (sign: Scorpio), I'm a comic artist born and currently living in Central Florida.

I've always had a love for art, and have been drawing from the time I was able to hold a crayon. Growing up, I enjoyed painting realistic renditions of animals, as well as drawing my favorite cartoon characters. I discovered manga and anime in my teens, which also influenced my artistic style. I'm also a huge fan of animated Disney movies and wanted to be an animator before I discovered and fell in love with the medium of comics.

My drawing and coloring skills are mostly self-taught through observation, dedication, and a lot of practice. In school, I took as many drawing and painting classes as possible. I've also taken a participated in a few community life drawing, cartooning, and animation classes.

Some of my published works include the three-volume graphic novel series, Peach Fuzz, how-to books Draw Furries and Draw More Furries, Digital Manga Workshop, and Mangaka America.

Comics I've contributed to include Fraggle Rock: Tails and Tales, Domo: The Manga, Archie Comics' Sabrina the Teenage Witch (penciler on issues 92, 96, 97, and 98) and Sonic the Hedgehog (penciller on Off-Panel strip comics), and the grand prize winning entry based on Peach Fuzz in Rising Stars of Manga Vol 2.

When I can find the free time, I enjoy sketching, reading manga and novels, playing video games (especially RPGs), watching animation, bike rides and walks, interacting with nature, swimming, and browsing the internet.

Favourite characters: Minako Aino (Sailor Moon), Raiden (MGS), Link (Zelda), Kiba (Wolfs Rain), Rikku (FFX) Utena (Utena)

I loved your "how to draw Furry" books. They really helped me come up with new ideas.  I had no idea you worked on the sonic comics. and I call myself a sonic fan lol. I'm working with Steven Butler on a Indy comic called "Son of the Thunder god" you may know good old Steven since he was a sonic artist too.  I'm the Writer for this project. I was wondering   if you have the time could you take a look and tell me what you think?(link below) thank you for your time and making those really helpful books.

Hello, Lindsay. I'm a rather big fan of your art and stuff, and I've recently been looking at your 'Draw More Furries' book. Just a quick question to ask you about one of the materials you used: How do you use a French Curve? And what is it specifically used for?

Oh, thank you~

A French Curve is just a ruler that allows you to draw a variety of smooth curves. You basically just find the type of curve you need on the tool, line it up with your drawing, and trace along the edge to create a smooth, curved line. I don't use them too often, but they have come in handy!

Is it really so difficult? That's why it's for me so hard to draw... Probably
