My sweet little ferret Elf has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma, a malignant mass in his abdomen growing off his lymph nodes. ;_; It's quickly growing, crushing his intestines and spreading.
I feel so bad for him. He's been spending his time mostly sleeping, and the rare times when he's awake, he can barely walk and tires easily. He's on three types of medicine right now, but they just treat the symptoms, not the growth. He needs surgery to remove the mass, followed by multiple chemotherapy visits.
The surgery for the complicated procedure costs around $1200, each chemotherapy visit around $300. Work already done so far has added up to $700. This is difficult for me to afford, but it's so painful to see Elf suffer. In case anyone wants to help, I've started an Elf collection fund. Every little bit helps!
